Testimonials

With this rewrite, Websphere.org has become the Pittsburgh Users group dream Web Site. The Leaders section offers all the functionality that maintaining my own web server would give me without the technical headaches. Mailing lists, registration of members, ability to send announcements, a presentation download page and meeting lists. What more could I ask for!? Yahoo Groups for Websphere Users!
- Janet Ferguson, Pittsburgh WebSphere User Group

The Global WebSphere Community, at http://www.websphere.org, lists all of those groups, as well as other resources for business partners and IT professionals. The site is currently being redesigned, and while the current site looks good, the new site is even better. By the way, if you happen to also be using Rational or Tivoli products, the folks who manage WebSphere.org also manage user groups lists for those products as well.
- David Gewirtz, "10 great sites for WebSphere professionals", WebSpherePower Magazine

Being a Sponsor of the WebSphere.org Global WebSphere Community has significantly helped Diogenes broaden its brand presence within the WebSphere community of users and developers. In addition, the tools and services Group Intelligence provided as part of this sponsorship allows us to reduce our marketing and sales costs while stimulating new sales within this increasing WebSphere market.
- Betty O'Keefe, Director of Marketing Communications, Diogenes, Inc.

The "Start Up for Success" was very helpful in that it provided me with a checklist of items that I knew I had to complete in order to plan a successful user group meeting. Some of the tasks necessary to insure a successful meeting can be somewhat subtle and the list is very helpful in describing all aspects of the planning that are required. As a new user group, I am interested in seeing an area or a link on the Websphere.org site where I can browse the topics that other user groups have addressed in the past. This is helpful because it can act as a catalyst during a user group topic planning discussion.
- Sebastian Napoli, WebSphere User Group Leader - Philadelphia, PA

The site is constantly growing and it is the home of a useful newsgroup. It really is a great starting point for any serious user or business developer interested in WEBSPHERE. . . . . It was through this connection that my company, CIBER was able to secure training for some of our consultants. This has opened doors of possibilities in the business arena that CIBER is currently pursuing.
- John Manning, EGovt. CSM, CIBER

The WebSphere User Group provides an invaluable opportunity for IBM to provide new and in-depth information on the WebSphere family of products to a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic audience. It gives the IBM attendees and presenters a chance to talk with some of our most valued customers, from whom we obtain feedback and hear about the many varied e-business solutions implemented using WebSphere. It is a valuable source of information exchange for both presenters and attendees.
- Catherine N. Hickey, IT Specialist, Business Transformation and Integration, IBM Corporation

The Worldwide WebSphere User Group is a great channel for IBM to get the WebSphere strategy out to diverse groups. Additionally, because of its open forum, it provides valuable feedback for us to steer the WebSphere product in the right direction.
- Stefan Van Overtveld, Program Director WebSphere Technology Market, IBM Software Group
